The Fall meeting of the membership of the Maryland Chapter of the American Chestnut Foundation will be held on Saturday, September 28th, 10:00am – 2:00pm. We will meet at the Fox Haven Farm & Learning Center, 3630 Poffenberger Rd, Jefferson, MD, 21755. Our speakers will include Cassie Stark, Mid – Atlantic Regional Science Coordinator of TACF, and Hannah Leeper, Southern Regional Outreach Coordinator of TACF. We will elect new officers at the meeting and look forward to the next steps in our quest to restore our American Chestnut. We will review the progress that has been made during this productive year from Ron Kuipers, our Master Orchard Stewart. We have a limited number of fine seedlings to be given to our members. Lunch will be served. You are welcome to bring guests. You will have time to speak directly to our Board members.
