DESCRIPTION:FIND Outdoors\, the Cradle of Forestry\, and The American Chestnut Foundation invite you a Lunch & Learn plus special film screening event: CLEAR DAY THUNDER: Rescuing the American Chestnut at the Cradle of Forestry. \nFIND Outdoors and the Cradle of Forestry play a significant role in preserving America’s forestry heritage and promoting sustainable land management practices for future generations. Additionally\, it is believed that historically the Cradle site contained American Chestnut Trees and the Pinchot Wood Slab Exhibit on site features an American Chestnut Tree slab that was showcased at the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition\, also known as the Chicago World’s Fair. \nEntry fee for the Cradle of Forestry is $4-$8 \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Event Schedule:\n\nLunch & Learn – (12:00 pm-12:45 pm) Jamie Van Clief will offer a presentation to anyone joining us during lunch to learn more about the mission of TACF. Anyone is invited to bring a picnic lunch to the Cradle of Forestry and join the discussion about the restoring mission of TACF. Session to be held in the Perkins Room.\nFilm Screening – (1 pm-2 pm) Indoor auditorium\, film is 51 minutes in length.\nQ&A with TACF staff with Jules Smith (2 pm-2:45 pm) Indoor auditorium.\n\nLocation: Cradle of Forestry\, the entry fee is $4-$8\, the Cradle of Forestry is open 10 am-5 pm\, TACF and FIND Outdoors will be there all day with their table displays to talk to visitors. Film goers are welcome to visit the Cradle of Forestry from open to close\, 10 am-5 pm.
