SUMMARY:Call for Boy Scouts to Help Plant American Chestnut Trees
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, October 26 the WV-TACF Chapter will be planting 100 American chestnut trees at Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in Glen Jean\, WV. The hands of many scouts are needed to assist the chapter in a successful planting at this all-day activity from 9:00AM-5:00PM.  The seedlings\, two to three feet in height\, are from TACF’s Meadowview Research Farms in southwest VA. \nPlease bring gloves and shovels for digging holes. Pizza and water will be provided for lunch. \nAll participants will receive a “TACF Volunteer” patch. And\, if you find Albert\, you will receive a wooden “I FOUND ALBERT” token. \nTo RSVP\, contact WV Chapter Treasurer Sam Muncy by September 30 at the info below.
