DESCRIPTION:The Maine Chapter’s annual meeting will be held on November 3rd at Camp Mechuwana in Winthrop\, Maine. All Maine chapter members of TACF or those interested in becoming a member are encouraged to attend. The meeting will be held in the memorial chapel starting at 9:30 am and end at 12:00 pm. The meeting will include the 2018 report\, election of officers and board of directors and guest speaker Frederick Hebard\, PhD\, Chief Scientist Emeritus of the American Chestnut Foundation and his talk on developing backcross American chestnut tree true-breeding for blight resilience.
