The talks were selected and organized with the interests and concerns of Maine’s woodland owners in mind. \nAt 11:00AM\, Brian Roth\, TACF Maine Chapter board member will give a talk titled\, “Reintroduction of the American Chestnut:” The American chestnut tree has been absent from the landscape for almost 100 years. Learn about the importance of the American chestnut\, the science behind encouraging resistance to chestnut blight\, and future challenges.
