SUMMARY:CT Chapter Chestnut Shucking Party Pot Luck
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the CT Forest and Park Association HQ at 16 Meriden Rd\, Rockfall on Thursday\, October 3rd anytime between 3 PM to 8 PM to collect all the chestnuts from the harvested burs\, and enjoy a friendly pot luck gathering.  Bring a dish or desert\, chestnut themed preferred but not required.  CFPA asks that we use compostable or recyclable products to limit waste.  Don’t forget to bring thick gloves or a couple of pair that can be doubled to handle the burs.

Come to our Shucking Party (bring gloves!) and help up open\, select\, list and track all the nuts coming from our CT chestnut trees to send to TACF for controlled plantings and research purposes.\nFeel free to bring Chestnut/Fall themed refreshment/baked goods to share to make it a tasty shucking party! \nCome anytime between 4 and 8 pm\, stay as little or as long as you want!
