DESCRIPTION:A first organizational meeting of the new North Central Branch of the Indiana Chapter will take place Saturday\, April 29 at 1:00pm. This branch will serve both Michigan and Indiana. We will meet in the Summer House at Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Center in Niles\, MI. Membership\, organizational structure\, future mission and purposed projects will be discussed. Dr. Jeanne Romero Severson\, TACF board member and Biological Science Department Head\, University of Notre Dame Biological Sciences will give an update on her recent genetic research on chestnut blight resistance.
