DESCRIPTION:If you’re a member of one of TACF’s southern region state chapters (Carolinas\, AL\, GA and TN)\, join us on Tuesday\, April 3 at 5:00PM for a meet & greet event with Zak Giles\, a certified arborist and owner of Arbor Elite Tree Services in Chattanooga\, TN. Zak is volunteering with local chapters by lending his expertise and the ability to climb trees that cannot have samples collected/pollinations by bucket truck. \nIn addition to meeting Zak\, This will be a great opportunity for members with interest in the American chestnut and chinquapin trees to ask questions of some of the following experts: \n\nDr. Hill Craddock UTC TACF\n Taylor Perkins UTC TACF\nTrent Deason UTC TACF\nAlex Neurbauer AL TACF Grafting specialist\, and owner of Hidden Hollow Nurseries\, near Sewanee TN\nThe Lookout Mountain Land Trust will have a representative there as well\n\nFor more information or questions\, contact Will Calhoun/256-366-8142.
