DESCRIPTION:After a busy summer\, we are excited to add additional Tennessee Chapter backcross American chestnut seedlings to the chapter seed orchard at Seven Islands State Birding Park. Please join us to help plant on December 10 at 9:30AM! We’ll meet in the parking lot of the park and carpool to the planting site. Please RSVP to Southern Regional Science Coordinator\, Ben Jarrett if you plan on attending. Things to bring: \n\nwater\, lunch & snacks\ngloves\npost hole digger or shovel\nappropriate clothes for the weather\n\n
