DESCRIPTION:TACF’s New England Regional Science Coordinator Kendra Collins will give a tour of the American chestnut germplasm conservation orchard from 11:45AM – 12:30PM. The tour is part of the 2019 University of Vermont Horticulture Research & Education Center’s Open House. Join researchers\, students\, and community stakeholders in tours and discussion of the latest research conducted at the farm. The agenda will follow projects via a walking tour across the landscape of the 97-acre facility throughout the day. Attendees are encouraged to come and go to fit your interests.
