Last Chance to Give in 2015

TACF is working to restore a species, and contributions of any amount make an impact. We are very grateful for your support of this important conservation effort. Thank you in advance and please give as generously as your situation allows.
Restoring a Species - The Year in Pictures
Dedicated volunteerism has always been at the very core of TACF's organizational values. With the help of our Chapters, we have created a photo collage to recognize some of the many members, volunteers, and partners who make this Foundation truly inspiring. Thank you for giving this iconic species a chance to thrive today and in the year ahead.
Best wishes for a safe and happy New Year!

Indiana Chapter Expands Outreach Program with Fall Meeting
By Indiana Chapter President Ben Finegan
Members of TACF's Indiana Chapter gathered for their fall meeting at the Skyline Shelter of Jackson-Washington State Forest. Located on one of the steep hills, or "knobs," of Indiana's Knobstone Escarpment, the shelter sits on a ridge that towers hundreds of feet above the surrounding lowlands. The area was also home to American chestnut trees in the recent past.
Give Yourself a Tax-break with the IRA Charitable Rollover
Congress has extended the IRA Charitable Rollover for 2015 and beyond! This extension allows individuals 70 ½ or older to donate up to $100,000 tax-free from their IRA to The American Chestnut Foundation. This unique opportunity will provide critical support for our mission - to bring back the American chestnut to our forests. Read more about this opportunity in 2015 and beyond.
