Join The American Chestnut Foundation as we get into the holiday spirit, December 16 at 6:00 PM in the Damascus Trail Center. All are invited to gather around the fire to hear the story of the American chestnut. We will journey through this trees’ incredible importance, the impact of its loss, and how you can help to bring it back! You’ll even be able to sample a chestnut for yourself as we bring new life to the holiday tradition of chestnuts roasting on an open fire.
