Growing Awareness in the 2017 Growing Season
Chapter volunteers will be out in force this growing season, spreading the word about The American Chestnut Foundation. With the help of our interpretive display and helpful handouts, they will be attending community outreach events in Pennsylvania and New Jersey telling the story of the American chestnut; its life, death, and rebirth.
Coming up on April 29th
9 – 4 pm Lancaster Native Plant and Wildlife Festival – Manheim Township’s Overlook Park. (Lancaster County)
and
10 – 4 pm Earth Day Festival at PEEC! Pocono Environmental Education Center, Dingman’s Ferry, PA (Pike County)
