TACF’s Paul Sisco will be presenting a workshop at the 61st Annual Iowa State University Shade Tree Short Course conference on February 21-23. The conference will be held at the Scheman Continuing Education Building on Iowa State’s campus. Paul’s workshop, Breeding Blight and Root-rot Resistant American Chestnut Trees, will take place on Wednesday, February 22 from 1:00-2:00 P.M. He plans to talk about the work being done to develop American chestnuts resistant to the blight and to root rot caused by Phytophthora cinnamomi.
