CT Chapter Hosts American Chestnut Presentation at Sessions Woods

Come hear about the current status of the American chestnut and The American Chestnut Foundation’s efforts to restore this iconic species on Saturday, August 24 from 8:30-10:30AM. After the presentation, we will walk some nearby trails in hopes of finding remnant American chestnut trees still growing in the forest. Bring plenty of water to drink and appropriate footwear.
