MA/RI-TACF 2025 Annual Meeting

Lake Graboski, North Central Regional Science Coordinator for TACF, will present on the process of growing and evaluating chestnuts for the breeding program, focusing on activities at Penn State University. We will look at the processes of seedling production, grafting, and small stem assays, and explore how these processes come together to advance the mission of restoring the American chestnut. This presentation will focus on the practical logistics and challenges associated with growing chestnuts. There will be plenty of time for questions at the end of the presentation.
