Come to the Maine Chapter Annual Gathering and Field Trip
All members, friends and volunteers of the Maine chapter of TACF are invited to come together on Sunday, April 26 from 11:00 – 3:00 for our annual gathering. This year the setting is beautiful Camp Pondicherry. The address is 85 Camp Pondicherry Road, Bridgton, ME. This Girl Scout camp is ordinarily not open to the public, so come enjoy its beautiful fields and forest while you can!
You’re sure to meet some of the fascinating folks this tree brings together. This event is a great chance to connect with others and discover shared interests. Come learn more about American chestnuts and how you can help return them to your corner of Maine. If you’ve been volunteering in this mission, please attend so we can properly thank you and acknowledge your efforts.
Seeds and seedlings will also be available at the Annual Gathering on April 26, with a 20% discount on both.

- Conduct our meeting 1:00 – 2:00
- Celebrate our volunteers 2:00 – 2:15
- Hike to a big chestnut 2:15 – 3:00
