Pryor Orchard Harvest – Edneyville, NC

The North Carolina/South Carolina Chapter of The American Chestnut Foundation invites you to join in harvesting hybrid American chestnuts! We will be harvesting these trees at the Pryor Orchard in Edneyville Township, NC, on Saturday, September 27 at 10:00 am.
If you’re interested in joining, please dress for field work and bring gloves, water, and a lunch. We plan to have all the needed tools at the orchard. Before we start, we will give a brief presentation on American chestnut trees and proper planting procedures. We hope to see you there!
