University forest planting (Preston County)

We will plant a few replacement trees and mulch existing trees.  Bring gloves, water and a snack.  Note that there are no rest room facilities at the site. With sufficient number of volunteers, this project should take less than 3 hours.

Directions to University Forest:

From I-68 east, take Exit #15 (Coopers Rock).  Turn left off the exit ramp and proceed to the stop sign.  Turn right and proceed 0.3 miles to the top of the hill and turn left (follow Sand Springs Campground).  The planting is adjacent to the parking lot.
