SciTech Now: Saving the American Chestnut Tree

Dr. William Powell, professor at State University of New York’s College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF) and TACF committee member, was recently interviewed on SciTech Now, a program on PBS that captures the latest breakthroughs in science, technology and innovation. In this clip, Dr. Powell discusses the restoration efforts of the American chestnut tree and the years of research that have gone into reintroducing the tree back into the eastern forests.
