Virginia Cooperative Extension is holding Horticulture Dayz on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, and Thursday, March 1, 2018, at the Northern Virginia 4-H Center in Front Royal, VA. Many great speakers have been lined up for this year’s event, including the fantastic keynote speakers! Stanton Gill, an entomologist at the University of Maryland will be joining our program on February 28th. Ed Gilman, Horticulture Professor from the University of Florida will speak on Thursday, March 1. Both are well respected in the industry and bring several exciting talks. We look forward to having them share their knowledge with the Mid-Atlantic green industry.
March 1 is Youth Career Day when Virginia TACF President Cathy Mayes will speak on the topic “Restoring America’s Mighty Chestnut Trees.”
