A university campus in West Virginia is doing its part to help bring back the American chestnut tree. In mid-October, West Liberty University held a ceremonial tree planting to mark the return of American chestnut trees to the campus hilltop. The three trees planted were donated by the WV-TACF Chapter. Chapter member Robert Sypolt, graduate student Audrey Sykes, and Dean of the College of Liberal Arts Gerard NeCastro planted the first tree.
