Chestnut planting – Winchester Seed Orchard

As the spring temperatures start to warm up, it’s time to start planting our next generation of chestnut trees to help fulfill our mission of restoring the American chestnut. We will gladly appreciate any help you would like to offer us. Please bring your own work gloves or any hand gardening tool, as well as water for drinking.
We will be preparing and planting 2 new plots in the Winchester Seed Orchard/Hurlbut Field Preserve
