TACF/EKU Regional Hybrid Orchard

Volunteers and Partners of the Kentucky Chapter will be Pre-Bagging selected trees in our TACF/EKU Regional Hybrid Chestnut Orchard, preparing for Controlled Pollinations 11 days later, when flowers are in prime bloom.

We will Pre-Bag selected trees 11 days prior to Prime ripeness of flowers on our BEST hybrid American Trees. On June 16th, we will return to the orchard to apply selected pollens to those trees for "next generation" of trees to plant in selected orchards.
