VA – Hike to See Large American Chestnut at Devil’s Marbleyard near Glasgow

Join TACF Chief Conservation Officer Sara Fitzsimmons to see a large surviving American chestnut at Devil’s Marbleyard in Glasgow, VA!
Come out to Glasgow, VA for a strenuous (yet rewarding!) 3-mile roundtrip hike to see “the most metal American chestnut” affectionately named “Keith Richards.” The tree is shaggy and blighted, but successfully fighting off the fungus!
*Note, this hike includes traversing boulders, please keep this in mind.
