BGE Professor Dr. Hill Craddock hosted volunteers of the Tennessee Chapter of The American Chestnut Foundation for a fall workshop “Chestnut Shucking Party” at the UTC Fortwood Street Greenhouse and Nursery. This crew, which includes UTC faculty, students, and alumni, processed more than 14,000 chestnut seeds in one very long workday.
