VA – Chestnut shucking party!

We’ll be shucking chestnut burs to extract the nuts, prepare the nuts for stratification; record the family and quantity of nuts by family.
We will be shucking at Augusta Forestry Center in Crimora, VA. Bring a lunch, water, and thick gloves (leather is best for shucking chestnut burs).
