The ME-TACF Chapter will be planting American chestnut seedlings and seeds in their Hartland Seed Orchard on Saturday, June 15 (Sunday, June 16 if needed or rain day alternative). This is a great opportunity to get involved in American chestnut restoration! Meet at the orchard at 9:00AM. The goal is to finish by mid-afternoon. The orchard is 0.6 miles along a dirt woods road that starts through the gate at the end of the Huff Hill Road in Hartland, ME. Click here to access the orchard location, which is accessible via two-wheel drive with reasonable clearance. For more information, contact Brian Roth/(207) 944-1392. We hope to see you there!
