Spring 2024 Orchard Maintenance and Planting Schedule

Orchard Maintenance

Winchester Seed Orchard – We are in dire need for some local volunteers who live in the Winchester area who might be able to help maintain this orchard.  If you are interested in helping out at this location, please reply to this email, or contact us at CTChapter@tacf.org.  The orchard is located at Hurlbut Field, Grantville Rd (near West Rd), Winchester.

 

Orchard Plantings

Denison homestead GCO – Saturday, May 18th, 9:00 AM – 120 Pequotsepos Rd., Mystic.  Orchard is behind the Farmer’s Market area. Bring workgloves and plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Wilton Land Trust GCO – Sunday, May 19th, 1:00 PM – 183 Ridgefield Rd, Wilton.  Bring workgloves and plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Roxbury GCO – Thursday, May 23rd, 12:30 – Private location.  Please reply to this email for directions.
