Doug Gillis, President of the Carolinas Chapter of The American Chestnut Foundation, will discuss the demise and restoration of the American chestnut tree at the Huntersville Garden Club’s meeting on April 24. The Garden Club will meet at Waterbean Coffee, 9705 Sam Furr Road, Huntersville, NC starting at 6:00 PM and concluding at 7:30 PM.
