VA- Fall Farm Day at Sky Meadows

One of the first chestnut plantings at Sky Meadows State Park.
We will be providing educational material about American Chestnut restoration to the public including activity books geared to children. Our orchard at Sky Meadows will serve as a demonstration of these efforts. If you would like to see American Chestnut restoration in progress, come on by!
There are signs showing the way and the event can be seen as you enter the park. It is in the historical buildings area.
