Southbound and Down (But Not For Long!)

This short film (~20 min) highlights the story of the American chestnut cabin at Many Streams Ranch, near Rome, GA.  This cabin, a former VFW lodge built in 1936 in Camp Hill, PA, was relocated to GA about 20 yrs ago by Dr. Matt Mumber and his family.  This film is dedicated to the many GA-TACF volunteers, who for the past 15 yrs, have dedicated themselves to the restoration of the American chestnut.  We hope it helps remind us all of some of the reasons we are doing this work!

Part of this round of work included weed control and part was maintenance of the electric deer fence. ... See MoreSee Less
