CT Chapter Chestnut Shucking Party Pot Luck

Join us at the CT Forest and Park Association HQ at 16 Meriden Rd, Rockfall on Thursday, October 3rd anytime between 3 PM to 8 PM to collect all the chestnuts from the harvested burs, and enjoy a friendly pot luck gathering.  Bring a dish or desert, chestnut themed preferred but not required.  CFPA asks that we use compostable or recyclable products to limit waste.  Don’t forget to bring thick gloves or a couple of pair that can be doubled to handle the burs.
