Dancing chestnuts, fireworks, Hollywood celebrities, free beer, and a special musical performance by a hologram of Nat King Cole! OK, maybe none of those things, but it will be full of fun and surprises. Look back at 50 episodes of all things chestnut and look forward to the future of chestnut restoration, including:

• An interview with 11-year-old Russel Boyer, who has perfect Chestnut Chat attendance
• A chat with freshly retired former CEO Lisa Thomson, under whose leadership Chestnut Chat began
• A preview of the educational round-table at the 2024 American Chestnut Symposium: Catherine Martini, TACF’s Northern regional outreach coordinator will interview educators from Maine, West Virginia, and more about using the story of the American chestnut to inspire the next generation of conservationists
