The Annual Meeting of the Connecticut Chapter of TACF will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 10:00 AM (Opening reception at 9:30) at the CT Forest & Park Association’s Headquarters, 16 Meriden Rd., Rockfall, CT. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Jared Westbrook, TACF’s Director of Science, who will present “Finishing Selection in Backcross Seed Orchards and Diversifying Transgenic Populations”. Also, we will be having an optional tour of the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station’s chestnut orchards where the Clapper and Graves trees are located. Those who want to attend can meet at the CFPA parking lot at 7:30 to car pool down, or just meet us at the CAES Lockwood Farm at 890 Evergreen Avenue in Hamden at 8:00.
