Connecticut 2007 Chapter Event Schedule

February 10th Connecticut Chapter (CT-TACF) Board Meeting from 10am-1pm. Woodbridge Community Center, all are welcome to attend. Contact Bill Adamsen or Leila Pinchot

February 22nd – 25th Connecticut Flower and Garden Show at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. Come help tell others about CT-TACF. Contact Pat van de Kamp or Leila Pinchot

April 14th
(April 15th Rain Date)
Salem Land Trust. Come help plant our second year's crop of CT-TACF Backcross Chestnuts in the Salem Orchard. Contact David Bingham or Leila Pinchot for more information.

April 18th The Stamford Museum and Nature Center will be doing a Chestnut tree planting during their “Take a Hike” event. Times are at 1:30pm and 3:00. See the Stamford Museum and Nature Center web site Contact Pat van de Kamp for more information.

April 21st Woodbridge Land Trust. Come help plant our second year's crop of CT-TACF Backcross Chestnuts in the Woodbridge Orchard. Contact Philip Arnold or Leila Pinchot for more information.

I have two American chestnut trees in my yard in Delaware. The one is leaning bad and needs to be cut down. I would someone to contact me for you guys can get seeds and limbs

Will Chestnut trees grow in the North?

I have several chestnut trees on my farm and they produce every year. I know the wildlife loves them.
